Had an amazing experience at Apna Kitchen! The food was absolutely delicious, the customer service was on point, and the atmosphere had such a calm, welcoming vibe. Honestly, I enjoyed everything about my visit. The Butter Chicken is a must-try, rich, flavorful, and dangerously good. The kind of dish that makes you pause mid-bite like, “Okay… now this is serious.” Definitely looking forward to coming back!
A fantastic dining experience from start to finish. The restaurant is spotless, with a warm and cozy atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable right away. The staff are polite, attentive, and very professional. The lamb tikka masala is tender and rich in flavor, perfectly paired with hot, fluffy garlic naan. To finish, the gulab jamun is soft, warm, and perfectly sweet — the ideal ending to a great meal. Delicious food, excellent service, and a clean, welcoming space. Highly recommended.
A must try! We had the lunch buffet and everything was hot and fresh. The food is very flavorful without being too spicy. They had an excellent selection of chicken, shrimp, and lamb dishes along with vegetarian options (the tofu dish was delicious). The service was great and the staff very friendly. This is now our favorite Indian restaurant in southeast TN/Georgia line.
Visited Apna Kitchen and I had such a great experience at this Indian buffet! The absolute highlight for me was that they offer small bowls, which made it so easy (and fun!) to try a little bit of everything without overloading my plate. I love being able to sample all the different flavors, and this setup made it perfect. Everything I tried was fresh and flavorful, with that comforting, rich spice that makes Indian food so satisfying. And don’t even get me started on the desserts — so good! The perfect sweet finish to the meal. The mango lassi was especially delicious — sweet, creamy, and surprisingly filling. It tied everything together and felt like a treat all on its own. If you enjoy variety and want to taste a little bit of everything, this buffet is definitely worth it. I’ll absolutely be back!
Best Indian food we’ve had since moving to Tennessee 20+ years ago. We visited while in Chattanooga for the day and will absolutely make the drive from Knoxville again when the craving hits. Everything was fresh, and you can taste the difference—they use no frozen ingredients and import/grind their spices in house. Portions were generous, staff was attentive, and every dish was excellent. I had the Saagwala at spice level 5 (will probably go 6 next time), and their house naan was perfection. My husband loved the chicken biryani at spice level 7. Highly recommend!
Absolutely delicious food and some of the best service we’ve had in a long time! The menu had so many options that it was hard to choose, and everything we tried was packed with flavor. Highly recommend Apna's Special Naan! 🔥Fair warning for my peeps with those white girl taste buds,🔥 the spice level is definitely intense, but that’s exactly what you expect from authentic Indian cuisine and it was totally worth it. The Kadai Paneer was hands down the star of the meal and easily the best thing we ordered. Rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. I also highly recommend getting a Mango or Strawberry Lassi. Both were amazing and paired perfectly with the spice. We’ll definitely be back!
The authentic Indian dishes at Apna Kitchen did not disappoint. In fact, we’ve marked Apna as one of the best Indian restaurants we’ve been to around the country! We visited there for dinner tonight and we were greeted with smiles and seated right away. Our Taj Mahal beer was appropriately served in frosted mugs and the spicy mint chutney served with an appetizer of thin and crispy chips was delicious. We ordered a cup of the lentil soup and samosas to start, tandoori chicken and lamb tikka masala with garlic naan for our meal. The samosas were perfect, with a very light outer crust and a tasty filling. I also enjoyed the lentil soup, although I was hoping for a little more spice. The chicken was perfectly spiced, served sizzling with onions and peppers and the lamb tikka was extremely tender and full of flavor as well. They also made sure there was plenty of garlic on the soft and slightly crispy naan. Our host brought us a rice pudding dessert to taste, and it was a pleasant surprise for me, as I typically do not like rice pudding! It was a perfect final flavor to top off the fantastic dinner. It was truly delicious and definitely a spot we’d love to visit again.
I recently visit Apna Kitchen Chattanooga best Indian food I had after long time very good and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. If you are looking for authentic Indian cuisine with a modern, welcoming vibe, this is the place to be. The Food: We started with the Gobi Manchurian (or perhaps the Chilli Cauliflower), which had the perfect balance of spice and tang—highly addictive! For the main course, the Paneer Butter Masala was incredibly rich and creamy, pairing perfectly with the fluffy Basmati Rice. You can’t go wrong with their bread; the Butter Naan was warm, soft, and had that perfect slight char from the tandoor. To wash it all down, the Mango Lassi was thick, fresh, and the perfect sweet contrast to the spices. The Atmosphere: The restaurant itself is beautiful. I loved the orange 🍊 color inside the wall accent walls and the have baby krishna pic ❤️looks so good arrangements—it creates a warm, upscale feel that’s perfect for a date night or a nice family dinner. The space is clean, well-lit, and the service was attentive and friendly. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly welcomed and exceptionally looked after by the wonderful hosts — hemant and mukesh aryan Their attention to detail, genuine hospitality, and passion for making guests feel comfortable truly made the evening special. I ordered the butter chicken, and I have to say — this is how butter chicken should taste. Unlike many places where it’s overly sweet, this was beautifully balanced, rich, and deeply authentic. Coming from Delhi myself, I can confidently say this tasted exactly how I would expect it back home. It was nostalgic, flavourful, and absolutely spot on. The restaurant itself is stunning — beautifully decorated with character, elegance, and a warm atmosphere that elevates the entire dining experience. And in my opinion, you can always judge a restaurant by how well they maintain their good quality very good this test effortlessly. I visited Apna kitchen with my family after hearing a lot about it. I recommend making a reservation, as it helps you avoid waiting in the queue outside the restaurant. The ambience is lovely, with a great vibe and thoughtfully designed décor. Service was efficient, and the staff were polite, friendly, and helpful throughout our visit. We tried a couple of dishes, and the food was really good, with authentic traditional north Asian flavours. I highly recommend the bhindi masala House naan Methi Lamb and ask them to make for us dray got Grilled Masala — all of them are a bit on the spicy side and full of flavour. If you prefer something milder, the Chicken butter is a great option. The Paratha and House Chai are also definitely worth trying and rounded off the meal nicely. We finished with the Pistachio Kulfi, which brought back nostalgic memories and was a perfect way to end the meal. Overall, apna kitchen offers a great atmosphere with strong branding. The place can feel quite lively and a bit noisy due to the crowds and music, but that adds to the buzz. I would definitely visit again. Special thanks to hemant for taking such good care of us.
